Is there any way to change the world clock to my current city?

I was not aware of the difference until recently. If I don't have cell reception my Eris (GPS status, Google Maps, Whatever) has no idea where I am.  Meanwhile my buddy's Moto Droid acts like a real GPS.  Wish I had know this before.  

Is this a hardware issue or something that V2.1 will fix?

at the end of my e mail I want to put the little droid on it I talked to the htc people an they said they did not know of a way to do it?  kind of funny they make this phone ? They also said to put it up on the forums so here I am... I put was sent on my droid but I want the little droid on it every time can some one tell me how to do it please. Htc people thought it was a good idea but no help. I get tired of seeing e mails with I sent this on my I phone........so this is my answer to them.

i can only look up names on my contacts (people) app.  i would like to be able to search a company name like i did on my blackberry.  any suggestions?

Could it be true that HTC and/or Verizon will end of life the ERIS after 5 months?

I hope it stays supported or the (hopefully) pending updgrade will have to last for a while.
