I have a Droid Eris. I have a lot of bookmarks saved. How do I import them to my computer? I've already tried hooking it up through the USB; it only showed the pictures of the links, not the links themselves.

First off this is NOT about creating a VPN connection on my HTC Eris.

I have a simple Windows XP VPN connection I use to connect to my company's servers. (See here http://www.windowsecurity.com/articles/Configure-VPN-Connection-Windows-XP.html for description).

When I VPN in on my work laptop, the WI FI connection on my Eris drops. No other WI FI device I own is affected when I make the VPN tunnel-- other laptops, wireless printer, even my wife's LG Droid phone -- maintain their WI FI connections. It is only my Eris that has an issue. I have to disconnect the VPN, then disable/renable the wireless on the Eris to get connectivity restored.

Anyone know why this would be happening? Is there a setting within the Eris or within my FIOS router that can be altered to prevent this behavior?

I have the same issues with FaceBook not synching as many others and here is the suggested fix I recieved yesterday from HTC support and it worked.  I was told to go into my facebook profile on line, edit my profile, go to education and work and either clear all fields, or add a job and location if you don't have one.......In my case I aded a job and location yesterday........then last night I cleared it, then last night I added it again, this morning, all my FB contacts have updated to my cell.......I was also told they are working with Face Book to develop an upgrade to fix this issue. So for those that are as frustrated as I had been, this latest fix is probably worth a try. It worked for me and I can now report that ALL features on my Droid are working again and it is once again, the best phone I've ever owned :-)

My Eris no longer has start up sounds after the 2.1 update.  Does anyone know how to re-enable the startupsounds if it's possible?  thanks

I have the Eris... love the phone. Until last week.

Essentially, my calendar won't sync (via work email server). Emails do... contacts do... CALENDAR DOES NOT. It's pretty crippling and my tech dept says it's a "Known Issue" with Eris specifically.

Does anyone have any idea when this "known issue" will be fixed... or if there is a work-around?

If I can't get this fixed soon I have do ditch my phone!
