Computer & Network Health Packages
Package Information
- Discounts available if amount is paid in full, at
beginning of contract.
- Hourly rates are currently $75/hr.
- For software installations & Emergency services, the
included hours on the Zeus & Aphrodite packages apply at a
1hour minimum per (on-site) event. Anything past the
included hours listed will be billed at the standard hourly
rate.
- None of the below packages cover Operating System
reloading, nor cost of parts.
- Any on-site visits outside of the scheduled
monthly/quarterly (depending on package), unless a
pre-planned software or hardware installation, will be
billed as an Emergency Visit. Pre-planned installations
will be billed as such.
- All prices apply to networks that consist of ONE server
and up to FIVE workstations. If your network contains
more than this, custom pricing will be generated.
- Daily remote monitoring of servers to confirm
performance
- Quarterly remote checkups of accessible servers & workstations:
- Confirm all accessible servers are operational and current.
- Confirm all accessible Workstations are operational and current.
- Confirm Anti-virus protection is current
- Clean for Spyware
- Monitor all accessible systems for hardware problems and plan for repairs or replacement as needed with cost estimates.
- Install server & workstation patches and critical updates as they are released.
- Remotely Configure user accounts as necessary.
- Remotely install or reload software on workstations as needed. Hourly rates apply, no minimum charge. (Assistance may be required from someone on site)
- Emergency services, on-site reloading or installing new software, operating systems or trouble shooting hardware issues not addressed by 1 through 4 above will be billed at current hourly rates with a 1 hour minimum per trip
for locations in the Roanoke area.
Note: To successfully remotely monitor servers and workstations an always on high speed internet connection (such as cable or DSL) with a static IP is required. All servers, workstations and peripherals will need to be left on around the clock or at minimum, on a schedule.

- One day per Quarter an onsite inspection of all equipment will be performed:
- Confirm all servers are operational and current.
- Confirm all Workstations are operational and current.
- Confirm all peripherals are operational and current.
- Confirm all Network appliances are operational
(routers, switches, etc).
- Communicate with third party vendors as needed for version upgrades and tech support.
- Confirm Anti-virus protection is current
- Scan for & remove Spyware
- Physical cleaning of workstations (dusting &
vacuuming system).
- Daily remote monitoring of servers to confirm
performance
- Remotely Install patches and critical updates as they
are released (onsite assistance may be required if the patch
requires a system reboot).
- Remotely Configure users accounts as necessary
- Install or reload software on workstations as needed,
3hrs per quarter included. Anything past 3hrs will be
billed at standard hourly rate.
- Watch for hardware problems and plan for repairs or replacement as needed with cost estimates.
- Emergency on call service. 3hrd per quarter
included, with a 1hr minimum per visit. Anything past
3hrs will be billed at standard hourly rate.
